The PICCOLO 5 is based on Whisperpower's proven genverter technology. The system consists of a powerful diesel generator and an external PMG inverter.

The PICCOLO 5 is based on Whisper power's proven genverter technology. The system consists of a powerful diesel generator and an external PMG inverter. The inverter stabilises the power generated by the efficient Permanent Magnet generator to a pure sine wave voltage and thus ensures the correct output voltage for the connected appliances operated with alternating current, regardless of the set speed. This technology makes these genverters more compact and lighter than conventional diesel generators. Indirect water cooling (sea or fresh water) ensures optimum cooling of the motor and the Permanent Magnet. The motor has been developed by Whisper Power themselves and thus meets these special requirements precisely. The result is first-class performance with low fuel consumption and low emissions.

Optimum noise insulation
All PICCOLO generators come with a soundproof housing, which provides optimum noise insulation. The cover can easily be removed for maintenance work. A custom-made vibration damping system also ensures that they are not only quiet, but also vibration-free.

Easy installation
Kits are available separately to make installation easy, which contain all the components needed. Plus, the compact design means it can be installed in even the tightest of spaces, only a small amount of ventilation is required.
